Find the ClassLink LaunchPad for your organization
Start at launchpad.classlink.com, the verified ClassLink organization finder. Most school destinations use launchpad.classlink.com followed by an organization slug; older my.classlink.com organization links can redirect there. The school website remains the best source for the exact slug because ClassLink does not know an individual user's school username or password.
The finder, organization LaunchPad, QuickCard camera flow, Faces option and mobile app are related but distinct doors. A district can offer username/password, school Google or Microsoft SSO, QuickCard, Faces and other methods by profile. ClassLink Customer Service is documentation, not a student's app launcher. Never infer that a method displayed for one district is available at another.

Open the right LaunchPad in six steps
ClassLink is an organization launcher, so first identify the school and only then choose the method that school enables.

Open the ClassLink link on the school/district website or go directly to https://launchpad.classlink.com/. Avoid a search advertisement or message link that lands on a similar-looking hostname.

Use Find your login page, or Use My Location if appropriate, and select the exact organization. Confirm the district name and the launchpad.classlink.com/{organization} address before continuing.

Choose the method assigned by the school: district username and password, a school Google/Microsoft button, or another organization-labelled SSO option. Do not use a personal Google or Microsoft account.

If the school issued a QuickCard, choose Use QuickCard from the verified ClassLink page and allow the camera only for that flow. Keep the card private and do not upload its image to an unrelated form.

Complete any organization-required MFA prompt using the method previously enrolled for your profile. ClassLink supports several factors, but the district decides which one appears; reject an unexpected enrollment request from an email link.

When LaunchPad opens, verify the organization and app tiles before selecting a service. Sign out on a shared device and use the school helpdesk if an expected tile or login method is absent.

ClassLink supports MFA, but the district sets the path
Documented methods in the reviewed scope: passkeys, SMS, ClassLink Verify or compatible authenticator apps, YubiKey or other supported security keys, district-configured visual/PIN methods where offered. Availability can still depend on the product, tenant, account type, or organization policy described below.

The organization can vary policy by user profile, which is important for younger students and staff with different risk levels.
The reviewed public page does not give one universal current end-user settings path. Do not invent a menu or promise that a particular method is enabled. Enroll only when the verified organization LaunchPad or district instructions prompt for it, and direct path-specific questions to the school helpdesk.

Use QuickCard starts the camera-based card flow. Use My Location helps identify nearby organizations without requiring the user to guess a tenant slug. Remote Login opens an official ClassLink utility for an organization-supported remote sign-in scenario. The finder also offers Browser Check and a direct-login fallback. Match any choice to school instructions instead of exploring with student credentials.

ClassLink has warned about two direct credential lures
A fake ClassLink login page mimics LaunchPad and asks students or teachers for their school credentials.
A phishing email claims a ClassLink password reset is required and first asks for the current username and password.
ClassLink reports that students and teachers have been lured to fake ClassLink login pages. A copied LaunchPad can display a familiar school name while sending credentials elsewhere. Confirm the full address through launchpad.classlink.com or the school website; visual similarity is not enough.
ClassLink also warns about phishing email that asks users to reset a password by first providing their current username and password. ClassLink says it will never use that workflow. Start recovery from the known organization page and use Help, I forgot my password when available. These patterns come from a direct first-party advisory, rather than being inferred from a generic phishing checklist.

Use district-enabled recovery or the school helpdesk
At the verified organization page, choose Help, I forgot my password and enter the school username. The district may allow security questions, SMS or email. If none appears, the account is locked, or the username itself is unknown, contact the school-system helpdesk; ClassLink does not possess the user's district password.
Before a future lockout, signed-in users can review Profile picture > Settings > Recovery. The available Mobile Phone, Email and Questions cards reflect administrator policy. A card marked disabled cannot be enabled by following an unofficial workaround. For Google or Microsoft errors, first sign out of any personal account and retry with the school-managed account.

Passkeys are confirmed, availability is not universal
ClassLink names passkeys as a supported MFA method, but the organization decides whether a given profile can use them. The public material reviewed does not expose one universal enrollment path. Follow the verified LaunchPad prompt or school instructions, and do not claim that every district has enabled passwordless access.
