The verified direct destination is login.i-ready.com, but many students should not start there. Curriculum Associates' Family Center says portal districts require the student to sign in to the school or district portal and select the i-Ready icon. Other districts give a direct i-Ready username and password. The teacher's instruction decides which path is correct.
There is no documented public pattern for a school-specific i-Ready hostname. A district portal may be operated through Clever, ClassLink or another school identity provider, while i-Ready Connect for Students is the official iPad application. i-Ready Central's Family Center provides help rather than account entry. i-Ready Inform—the new Diagnostic name for 2026–27—and Personalized Instruction are components reached after access, not separate consumer logins.

Reach the student's assigned lessons in six steps
First determine whether the district uses a portal or direct credentials; trying the wrong door can produce an error even when the account is valid.

Check the teacher or district instructions. If they name a school portal, Clever or ClassLink, open that exact school-published destination. Otherwise go directly to https://login.i-ready.com/.

For portal access, confirm the school or district identity-provider hostname before entering credentials. Use the student account issued by the district, not a personal Google or Microsoft account.

After the portal opens, select the i-Ready icon. Do not type the same credentials into a separate page reached from a message if the normal school tile signs the student in automatically.

For direct access, enter the school-provided i-Ready username and password and select the requested state. Preserve the capitalization required by the school's credential instructions.

On an iPad, use i-Ready Connect for Students and follow the district's direct or SSO sequence. A Clever district may require both the Clever application and the i-Ready student application.

Once signed in, confirm the student name and assigned subject. Controls such as Next Lesson and My Progress should appear only after authentication. Sign out on a shared device and tell the teacher if the wrong profile opens.

Student 2FA is not established in public i-Ready guidance
Current methods: unknown. No official step-by-step source strong enough for a method claim was verified through 2026-09-06. That is an evidence boundary, not a claim that i-Ready lacks two-factor authentication.
No reviewed first-party user page confirms a student-facing i-Ready MFA setting or enrollment path. Keep the evidence status unknown. Curriculum Associates' privacy policy mentions MFA for its internal systems, but that statement describes company safeguards and must not be converted into a claim that a student can enable 2FA.
When a district routes i-Ready through Clever, ClassLink or another SSO provider, that school identity can have its own second factor. The factor, recovery channel and support owner are then controlled by the district/provider. Follow only the verified portal prompt and avoid documenting one provider's settings as if they existed inside i-Ready.

The i-Ready icon is the launch control inside a participating school portal. Next Lesson is the green control that continues the student's learning path, while a blue teacher-assigned lesson button can identify a specific assignment. My Progress and Completed Work help a student or family review activity. These are post-login learning controls, not evidence that a standalone recovery page is legitimate.

Question central recovery forms and student promotions
A message claiming to be Curriculum Associates central account recovery asks a student or parent to submit the i-Ready username/password or other school credentials.
A prize, promotion, ad or 'unlock i-Ready' form aimed at a student asks for a personal email address, phone number or marketing consent.
One lure presents a 'Curriculum Associates account recovery' form and asks a student or parent for the i-Ready username, password or district credentials. The official Family Center assigns credential help to the teacher, school or district. Return to the assigned portal and use the known school contact rather than submitting the form.
A second lure offers a prize, promotion, ad or special i-Ready unlock and requests a student's personal email address, phone number or marketing consent. The i-Ready privacy policy says the student service does not advertise or market to students and does not require a student's personal email or phone number. Those inconsistencies are useful red flags. No named i-Ready phishing campaign appears in the reviewed first-party sources, so this section describes privacy/workflow-derived patterns only.

Ask the owner of the school identity
For a direct i-Ready account, contact the teacher, school or district for a forgotten username, password or locked profile. The Family Center says schools provide student login information, and the privacy policy describes usernames/passwords as data supplied through the school customer. There is no documented universal family-managed reset route to recommend.
For SSO, use the password-recovery process on the exact district portal, Clever or ClassLink page, then return to the i-Ready icon. If the portal works but the tile is missing, or i-Ready opens the wrong child, the district must correct assignment or rostering. Reinstalling the iPad app will not repair an identity mapping owned by the school.

No student-facing i-Ready passkey path is confirmed
This guide does not claim current passkey support for i-Ready. A security key, device approval, or biometric prompt is not automatically a passkey, and an old product announcement is not enough to establish current availability.
The reviewed official pages do not document a native i-Ready passkey setting. Keep the status unknown. A district account may use a passkey through its external identity provider, but enrollment and recovery belong to that provider and should be described as school SSO security.

Who supplies the i-Ready username and password?

Can a student use i-Ready on an iPad?
